The Investment Company/Variable Contracts Products Limited Representative Qualification Examination, or Series 6, tests a candidate’s knowledge of redeemable securities of investment companies, securities of closed-end investment companies during the period of initial distribution only, variable contracts and insurance premium funding programs, and contracts that are not exempt securities according to the Securities Act of 1933.

Any individual who will transact a member’s business in these securities must pass the Series 6.

The Series 6 is a 2 1/4 hour, 100 multiple-choice question exam categorized as follows:
