The Investment Company Products/Variable Contracts Limited Principal Qualification Examination, or Series 26, qualifies individuals who will function as a principal for the solicitation, purchase, and/or sale of:

  • Redeemable securities of companies registered under the Investment Company Act of 1940
  • Securities of closed-end companies registered under the Investment Company Act of 1940 only during the period of original distribution
  • Variable Contracts
  • Insurance premium funding programs and other insurance company issued contracts

The Series 26 is a 2 1/2 hour, 110 multiple-choice question exam categorized as follows:
