Series 11

 

The Assistant Representative/Order Processing Qualification Examination, or Series 11, is required for individuals intending to accept unsolicited customer orders for submission for execution by a member. Such individuals cannot accept orders for municipal securities or direct participation programs. These persons typically assist registered representatives in their day-to-day functions.

This license is only accepted by the NASD. NYSE member-firms must have their sales assistants qualified by passing the Series 7 exam.

The Series 11 is a 1-hour, 50 multiple-choice question exam categorized as follows:
